Mewhary was long under the control of Shock when Sparky was born, and the young boy grew up dreaming of becoming the one who could end his reign. But what hope did he have? He wasn't born with any particularly incredible powers: many of the citizens of Mewhary can control electricity for work, sports, and in battle. Few creatures from the other regions of Crypta could ever hope to compete in one of the city's marathons, with some residents making a name for themselves by running fast enough to break the sound barrier. Then Sparky discovered that his unique gift wasn't physical, but mental: his focus. Through careful study and grueling trial and error, Sparky was able to develop a suit that helps him to better control the electricity around him. It makes him faster, stronger, and more resistant to attack. He even believes that it has the potential to use Shock's power against him. But until the city's brightest hero and darkest villain finally have their showdown, Sparky remains the vigilante the citizens have been waiting for, taking on bad guys who before we protected by the fear of their boss, and holding politicians accountable for letting Shock go on unchecked. Then, the war with the Centralized begins, and Sparky joins the strongest of Crypta, giving Sparky a chance to showcase his suit and the focus that made it possible to the entirety of Crypta.
